This is an upper level position for an experienced high-tech Production Manager who will utilize their technical and communication skills in the organization and management of multiple opto-electronic component production lines.

This tremendous opportunity entails joining the existing Team, learning the unique photonic manufacturing business, and exercising manufacturing skills to support and optimize the ongoing production lines. With the current expansion of our facilities and personnel, this is an ideal time to join the Team and help define the future manufacturing configurations.

The Production Manager will lead a Team of Operators and Technicians while reporting directly to the VP of Operations. The Manager will be supported by the current engineering staff.

Requirements
• Demonstrated experience managing a high-tech assembly production line for optimal output, cost, and quality
• Individual with technical background, enthusiasm, energy for rapid high-tech business, and proven leadership skills
• Ability to train, supervise and motivate production employees
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Science
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong pro-active and initiative-oriented personality
• Strong working knowledge of Excel.



Physical Requirements
This position require periodic travel and may occasionally require some physical activities and heavy lifting.
