Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. 

We seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous person who will help further our success and reputation in the industry. The successful candidate will have at least five years of facilities maintenance experience.

Specifically:

• Assume responsibility for Avo Photonics equipment list, including additions, subtractions, and physical locations

• Collaborate with process engineering and equipment manufacturers to define equipment maintenance and calibration plans

• Perform routine maintenance and repair where possible; schedule with manufacturers where needed

• Own and manage calibration of equipment. Ensure the relevant contact is notified when calibration is required. Schedule external calibration as needed; explore opportunities to transition to in-house calibration where possible

• Audit manufacturing area to ensure workstations are grounded as expected; report and correct any findings. Install and test ESD grounding to workstations as requested

Requirements:

• A.S. in the Sciences or Engineering or relevant technical experience

• 5 years experience in equipment or facilities maintenance/repair

• Hands-on technical ability

• Keen attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills
