Avo Photonics (www.avophotonics.com) is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Specifically:
Support semiconductor packaging line processes, fixtures, and equipment
Troubleshoot and resolve packaging issues as first point of contact
Coordinate involvement of Process Engineering as required to resolve issues
Manage qualifications of process and material changes in packaging line
Monitor processes and recommend improvements to increase process yields, product quality, station up-time, and ergonomics
Participate in revisions and updates to process work instructions
Set up and qualify test and assembly stations
Define preventive maintenance plans for assigned stations and test fixtures
Monitor machine and process health and report on uptime and incidents
Assist with fit-out of a new class 100 cleanroom for semiconductor packaging
Assist with planning and execute packaging line move and re-qualification of processes
Identify and eliminate safety hazards in stations, tools, and fixtures
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering preferred
3 years’ experience in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
Demonstrated attention to detail
Positive attitude, and excellent collaboration with coworkers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
