Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base.

We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service.

Specifically:

• Unload, verify, and organize incoming deliveries for efficient receipt

• Perform preliminary inspection of incoming deliveries for damages, and report any issues to Receiving Supervisor

• Examine and verify materials quantity and immediately report discrepancies to the supervisor

• Accurately process, label and properly store materials

• Accurately process, pack and ship orders

• Communicate efficiently with supervisors and teammates

• Keep the warehouse clean and organized daily

• Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma

• 2 years of warehouse experience

• Experience with warehouse data systems

• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment

• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes meeting OSHA weight specifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
