Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. We seek a diligent and dedicated Desktop Support Technician who can help maintain a secure computing environment. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop support issues.
Responsible for 300+ Windows Professional endpoints.
Deploy and maintain all endpoint hardware and software.
Ensure all endpoints are current with Windows Updates and Security Applications.
Manage inventory asset system.
Manage printers, docking stations, & conference room connectivity.
Set up new users with phones, desks, computers, & monitors.
Requirements:
Three to five years of Desktop/End-user Support experience preferred.
Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills in an Active Directory environment.
Proficiency in Windows Networking (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory).
Strong basic knowledge of Windows Server and switching / firewalls.
MCDST/A+ certifications (preferred but not required).
