Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops, and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff can design, prototype, and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, automotive, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

to lead a team, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.

Responsibilities:

Management

● Meet with process leads to set daily expectations

● Ensure training effectiveness and record keeping through routine auditing

● Monitor teams daily time and attendance to ensure proper reporting

● Set production expectations and track employee compliance

● Confirm employees are adhering to work instructions and highlight discrepancies

● Build, manage, and lead the team to achieve goals in the areas of safety, quality delivery,

inventory and productivity

● Lead interviewing for assigned team and make hiring recommendations

● Provide constructive employee feedback and direction on a consistent basis

Resource & WIP Management

● Ensure the availability of properly working equipment, tools, and supplies

● Maintain the flow of materials with a focus on visible controls and minimal work in progress

● Manage work instruction updates

● Maintain quality documentation is completed

Requirements:

● Greater than five years of experience managing teams

● Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
