Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a growing customer base.

We seek a diligent, dedicated, and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, measure and record mechanical, optical, and electrical features of incoming components per defined criteria

• Ensure inspection is completed within 24 hours of receipt

• Maintain accurate records of inspection results, including detailed documentation of any defects or discrepancies found

• Immediately communicate deviations to relevant stakeholders, including Procurement department, Production and Engineering teams

• Maintain custody of materials until disposition is complete

Requirements:

• High school diploma or A.S.

• 3 years experience performing mechanical inspection utilizing tools such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, bore gages, dial indicators, scales, and measurement microscopes

• Documented experience handling and measuring optical components is desire

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
