Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.
We seek a diligent, dedicated and meticulous person who will help to further our success and reputation in the industry through world-class customer service. The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Specifically:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled
Post approved position description to appropriate platforms
Review resumes that have been submitted for openings
Identify appropriate candidates and assess their qualifications through resume review, phone interview, and other screening methods
Connect qualified candidates with hiring managers
Maintain communications with hiring manager to ensure candidate lifecycle
Vet potential employees’ credentials, including background checks
Extend offers upon hiring manager approval
Share signed offer letters with payroll to initiate onboarding process and inform hiring manager of start date
Attend job fairs and industry conferences
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or SHRM-CP/PHR certification
7 years of experience recruiting high-volume; manufacturing environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
