Avo Photonics is a dynamic contract engineering services company that designs, develops and manufactures custom opto-electronic products for a large customer base. Members of our staff have the opportunity to design, prototype and produce next generation products for a diverse range of markets including environmental, medical, military, industrial, aerospace, and communications.

The successful candidate must plan his/her own work schedule, keep multiple records, be self-motivated, maintain a professional presence, and have the desire to take ownership of projects.
Specifically:
Manage the access control system for Avo Photonics facilities to ensure security and maintain employee safety.
Define, implement, and maintain an organized database of user profiles with specific access levels.
Oversee the employee badging process for onboarding and offboarding; regularly audit access credentials to verify accuracy.
Define, implement, and manage appropriate alerts for access controls to ensure 24x7 security.
Manage and maintain Avo’s surveillance camera systems for security and employee safety.
Perform minor wiring and hardware installation for access control and camera devices.
Requirements:
3 years prior experience with access control systems and surveillance camera systems
Associates degrees in electronics, information systems, or related technical field
Familiarity with ethernet connections, POE, and low voltage wiring for access hardware
Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft 365 and Google workspace
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
